The Truth about Goats
A recent ad campaign to promote the EU has caused much consternation in the female community. Rather than using the gaunt, deficit-ridden image of a bronzed, southern European nation, marketing strategists have gone with the pasty, bloated image of the German GDP.
Angela Merkel defended the decision to use the “plus size” image. “Yes, Germany looks a little on the chubby size, we are the world’s fifth largest consumer of energy,” explained a CDU spokeswoman. “So we are bound to be retaining a little water. And with our developed infrastructure we’ve always been big-boned.”
Monetary experts are concerned that a larger capital stock could lead to industrial obesity in later life. “No one wants to see a financially anorexic Greek,” argued one Economist. “But surely there is a middle ground between that and the muffin top
caused by a highly qualified labour force. For instance, look at the UK. She may have a big arse in the case of her corrupt financial sector but she has great pair of boobs in the form of Cameron and Clegg.”
